This game is the second and last game of 12th Maxim Cup final, between Park Younghun and Lee Changho.
Park won the first game, and this game was played on Jeju island, which is a beautiful island in Korea.
It was a relatively peaceful game, and there weren’t any big fights, but if you look deeper, it’s a really interesting and fun game, as it was close throughout. You can see both players’ great endgame skills and accurate counting in byoyomi.
After this game finished, Park said “The game was extremely hard to play because I had to count on every single move, and read out moves at the same time. I’m exhausted”
I hope you all enjoy the commentary.

Excellent commentary. As a kyu player it’s very hard for me to see why move 54 is a mistake, but you explained it well so I was able to understand.
Thank you very much for the commentary, it’s very useful for me.
that was a really great comment! I always enjoy them, please keep them coming!
Some days ago,i complained about An’s commentary over Kim vs Gu’s final game that i considered inexplicably vague. And There were 13 very interesting replies to my critic, all of them in favor of An because of the difficult of traying to explain a go game not so common, a clasic one. I learned so much with those replies and i also thanked very much to all of these fellows. This An’s commentary about Lee vs Park’s game i liked very much because of the varied hints over the calm style and concealed intentions of both conttenders, the type of commentary i prefer, sorry An.
Very clear and helpful commentary, thank you for it!
I’d love peaceful style, like in this game, and I found some new ideas for me.
Also I’d love Lee Changho games commentary, and I enjoy yours.
just wonderful…some of the sequences were a delight to watch
thanks for the comments as well :
