Well this is our first post. I don’t imagine many people will be reading this just yet, but hopefully that will change, given time.
So what is Go Game Guru?
To put it simply, it’s a site dedicated to teaching and promoting the game of ‘Go’ throughout the world.
It’s a collaborative effort between professional Go player An Younggil (8p) and me (David Ormerod). We both have a passion for Go and teaching it, and we recently decided to try something a bit different.
The plan
Younggil and I will both be writing about various Go related topics. We will also be putting a lot of work into material for beginners, because we believe that introducing more people to the magic of Go is the most important thing anyone can do for the Go community, no matter what country they’re in.
There are only two of us, so things might be a bit slow to start with, but stay tuned, we have a whole lot of ideas we’ll be working on over the next year.
Taking baby steps
The site is still being developed, so we’ll continue to add features and iron out wrinkles in the coming months.
If you’d like join us for the journey or tell your friends, just use the buttons above to share, or subscribe to our updates via email or RSS.
We hope you enjoy visiting our site.
Happy birthday Go Game Guru!
